Vehicle Replacement Group was founded to provide an effective solution to an unaddressed problem - how to quickly replace a vital vehicle when a car is written off.

Many people rely heavily on their car for work and family needs and being without a car for any length or time can be very inconvenient. Locating, checking and purchasing a suitable replacement can be time consuming, difficult and costly.

Until the launch of VRG, insured customers were paid out by their insurer, but then left to make all arrangements for locating and purchasing a replacement car without support.

Our strong relationships with all manufacturers and several of the UK and NI’s largest dealership networks allows us to provide the most economical solutions.

If your car has been written off by your insurer, you’ll have received a pay out, but you’ll still be left with the task of finding a suitable replacement.

That takes time. It can be difficult and costly to find exactly the car you want in a location near you.

MAKING IT EASY

VRG has access to over 425,000 new and used cars across the UK, all of them visible on our easy to use online portal.

Just tell us what kind of car you want, your budget and where you live and the portal does the search for you. It’s quick and simple — and free If a car is near to you, we’ll organise for the dealer to bring it to you for a test drive before you commit — at absolutely no cost.

All cars are subject to a thorough history check and have a 12 month MOT, plus at least 6 months’ warranty, so you can feel confident that you’re making a great choice.

BRAND NEW CARS

If your car was less than 12 months old when it was written off, you’re entitled to a brand new replacement car.

  • 6.1 If We do collect any personal data, it will be processed and stored securely, for no longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected.   • 6.2 As noted above, If you have provided your details via our Call Centre your Insurer or Broker or another Third Party Company, and We obtain your personal details from your email or by Phone, We may use them as follows:
    • 6.2.1 To reply to your email;
    • 6.2.2 To arrange a replacement vehicle as requested
  • 6.3 Any and all emails and records containing your personal data will be deleted no later than 3 months after a Vehicle has been provided to you. Your data will be retained during this period in order that we may respond to any enquiries from the Police or Local Authorities.
  • 6.4 You have the right to withdraw your consent to Us using your personal data at any time, and to request that We delete it.
  • 6.5 We will not share any of your data with any third parties for any purposes.
  • 7. How and Where Do We Store Your Data?

  • 7.1 We only keep your personal data for as long as We need to in order to use it as described above in section 6, and/or for as long as We have your permission to keep it.
